Responsibilities

•Startup & Commissioning support
•Ability to restart equipment after shutdowns
•Ability to work with pressurized and hazardous products
•Working knowledge of DCS/PLC.
•Ability to read and follow P&ID’s, isometrics and schematic drawings.
•Piping knowledge is a strong asset.
•Equipment walkdowns and detailed inspections.

REQUIREMENTS

•Power Engineering certificate – 4th class or equivalent experience.
•5+ years of field experience in similar commissioning roles in both brownfield and or greenfield projects.
•Ability to work in industrial backgrounds

•Support RFO / Operations team during start up.

REQUIREMENTS

•Instrumentation Journeyman Certification
•5+ years of experience in similar C&C roles.
•Experience instrument safety systems, loop check and alarm set.

REQUIREMENTS

•Experience in electrical safety, power generation/distribution, small power equipment, heat trace and electric motors.
•Demonstrated knowledge of industrial process instrumentation, fire and gas detection equipment, metering systems, safety electrical systems and hazardous locations.

•Computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting of electrical systems details as directed
•Referencing applicable codes, regulations and standards of practice, perform calculations of electrical systems
•Assisting electrical department as required
•Arrange and supervise design drafting staff/functions for the work undertaken for electrical projects
•Prepare electrical calculations in accordance with the relevant Canadian and International Standards
•Assist in sourcing new work and maintaining existing client base
•Prepare proposals and estimate of man-hour budgets
•Manage projects within budget and time constraints
•Prepare Scope of Work Documentation
•Prepare engineering reports
•Prepare electrical project specifications

REQUIREMENTS

•Certification in Electrical Engineering Technology from a recognized Institution
•Electrical Technologist, Engineering Design and Drafting or Equivalent and AETTNL accreditation
•Minimum of 8 years’ experience in design of electrical systems for various building projects
•Extensive Knowledge in Auto CAD
•Knowledge in REVIT would be an asset
•Self-motivated team player able to work with a variety of goals and issues simultaneously
•Familiarity with Canadian Building Codes and electrical engineering practices

•Oversight and Verification of Contractor Personnel travelling to Cenovus-operated facilities

REQUIREMENTS

•Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration (Human Resources) or related discipline
•5 years’ experience with personnel training & competency assurance systems
•2-5 years’ experience within the Atlantic Canada offshore petroleum industry
•Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track and report KPIs
•Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
•Exceptional organizational and planning skills to meet and exceed established deadlines
•Demonstrated ability to identify key problem areas and recommend appropriate solutions in a proactive manner
•Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to achieve team goals and objectives

•Coordinate the development of emergency response plans, ensure alignment and integration of those plans with corporate policies, and ensure the needs of other key stakeholders are met,
•Develop, implement, support and instruct management and staff in emergency management techniques, including organization and facilitation of training and exercises,
•Maintain emergency response centre and team readiness,
•Support the provision and maintenance of offshore oil spill response equipment, including the management of response contractors,
•Stay engaged in current and emerging regulatory compliance issues, industry standards, and best practices relating to emergency response and oil spill equipment and preparedness.

REQUIREMENTS

•Completion of a bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Marine Sciences or equivalent,
•Five years of related experience in emergency management and oil spill response in the offshore oil and gas industry,
•Completion of the Marine Spills Response Operations Course (MSROC) or equivalent,
•An understanding of the Incident Command System (ICS) emergency response structure, including completion of ICS 100 and 200 at a minimum.
•Knowledge of offshore oil spill planning and response, including equipment deployment and strategies (e.g., mechanical containment and recovery, spill treating agents, etc.),
•Knowledge of the techniques associated with the cleaning and rehabilitation of oiled seabirds,
•Ability to complete technical evaluations of best management practices and technologies for oil spill response and make recommendations for implementation,
•Knowledge of critical incident stress management, emergency notifications and crisis communication,
•Excellent presentation, written communication, group facilitation and training skills,
•Knowledge of corporate and regulatory reporting requirements.
