Responsibilities

•This CSR role will be focusing on the Pipeline Right-Of-Way Stripping.
•Reports to the Pipelines Team Lead.
•Monitor progress of construction and verifies progress payment certificates.
•Lead a multidiscipline team to ensure the pipeline project is constructed in a cost effective and efficient manner in accordance with the governing code, corporate specifications, best practices & regulatory requirements.
•Monitor contractor’s compliance to HSE regulations to ensure consistency with Operational Integrity Management System (HOIMS) elements.
•Ensure all construction contractors, and other third parties construction activities are performed and meet contractual requirements and obligations while adhering to all applicable policies, procedures and safe work practices.
•Ensure compliance to drawings, codes and ITPs.
•Facilitates coordination between Contractors and CMT and other entities (C and SU/Operations/Drilling and Completions etc.)
•Participates in and supports System Completion process (Walk Downs, Inspections, Testing)
•Verifies and authorizes cost reimbursable activities of the Contractors for approved change requests.

REQUIREMENTS

•Graduate of an applicable technical diploma program, and/or combination of education and relevant experience.
•5-7 years’ Supervisory experience in heavy industrial oil & gas construction project management
•5-7 years’ experience in large diameter pipeline construction and operation of gas and oil production facilities/pipelines
•Ability to read and understand construction documents including contracts, drawings, specifications, subcontracts.
•Familiarity with relevant construction codes, standards, and practices
•Computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office applications
•Valid Drivers License

Responsibilities

•Provide site leadership and communicate a clear vision that generates commitment and support from all field employees, workers and contractors. Develop and instill a strong safety culture and quality expectation that adheres to corporate standards and procedures.
•Serve as the key interface point and coordination between the construction contractor, field team, project management, operations, and other 3rd parties.
•Implement and adhere to the Construction Standards and Procedures.
•Promote a positive contractor relationship that upholds each parties’ responsibilities.
•Lead the morning meetings that promote safety, a daily plan, communication of critical information, and addressing concerns or constraints that arise. Attend contractor daily meeting, toolbox meetings, construction progress meetings and other scheduled project meetings that required for the success of the project.
•Actively plan, manage, and evaluate resources to ensure adequate oversight and competency of construction activities.
•Ensure all daily safe work permits and site-specific hazard assessments are completed to minimum standards.
•Issue accurate construction progress reporting and perform quantity surveys on a regular basis. Communicate on a regular basis any issues / constraints with recommendations to mitigate those, all of which that may have project impact related to construction activities, safety, costs and schedule.

REQUIREMENTS

•Multi-year Project experience as an Owners Construction Manager (50% or greater of experience is working directly for an Owner/Operator)
•Valid Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract
•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word etc.)
•Post- secondary education, preferably a diploma or degree or relevant professional designation
•Pipeline designations are considered an asset.
•Percentage of pipeline project experience is a requirement balance can be facility projects.
•Experience with delivery of construction deliverables, contract formation and knowledgeable with project controls functions

•Conduct GAP analysis between existing applications and new solutions.
•Work closely with business stakeholders to define and document applicable business change activities and new business procedures / workflows.
•Create test plans, test scripts and work with business stakeholders as needed to monitor test execution while assessing, tracking and managing defects.

REQUIREMENTS

•Post secondary education (2+ year program) in business, computer science or a related field.
•10+ years of project experience where the candidate filled the role of Business Analyst – preferably with a recognized certificate.
•Ability to solicit and document business requirements using examples from recent successful projects.
•Experience creating test strategies, test plans/scripts and executing & monitoring training plans.
