Responsibilities

•Provide estimates and technical input to proposals and EOI’s.
•Design and prepare Structural plans, specifications and detailed drawings (steel, concrete and wood) in accordance with established Codes, Standards and Industry Practices.
•Prepare Engineering evaluations, calculations and analysis reports.
•Provide oversight and guidance to structural technicians and support the technicians in the development of structural plans and detailed drawings.
•Approve and Stamp the Structural Discipline work.
•Carry out Site surveys and Site visits as required to support all phases of the work.
•Lead or participate in project, Client, vendor and subcontractor meetings.
•Work collaboratively with other Engineering disciplines to deliver Client solutions.
•Manage project delivery to the Client.

REQUIREMENTS

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil (Structural) Engineering from an accredited University.
•10 years of related work experience.
•Strong knowledge and expertise in all aspects of Structural design, evaluation, and analysis of Commercial and Industrial buildings, equipment, foundations and related systems. Experience with offshore facilities and/or subsea equipment would be an asset.
•Strong skills in using Structural analysis software such as STAAD, or similar.
•Eligible for registration as a Member in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Responsibilities

•Complete onboarding tasks and service requests ensuring new hires have appropriate hardware, access and applications
•Assist with scheduling/coordination of internal and external meetings

•Act as HDMS super user for reserving document numbers, uploading documents and performing document searches
•Assist in presentation/report preparation, formatting and distribution
•Create/revise requisitions in SAP

Responsibilities:

•The R&D Coordinator, combining business acumen and project management / engineering experience, provides support to the RD&D Team in tracking opportunity progress and financial planning and stewardship.
•Financial reporting and stewardship in support of the RD&D Program
•Economic analysis of R&D Obligation in support of required expenditure forecasting.
•Financial stewardship of the RD&D program tracking spend against budget.
•Supporting RD&D Team in economic analysis and value tracking for opportunities.
•Data collection and preparation in support of regulatory reporting on the R&D Program expenditures.
•Support to Controllers for completion of financial reporting and audits
•Project management support to the RD&D Team

Working with the Engineering and Project Management team, the primary duties of the Site Construction Representative include:

•Assist with the preparation of Construction Work Packages.

Responsibilities

•Coordinate the development of emergency response plans, ensure alignment and integration of those plans with corporate policies, and ensure the needs of other key stakeholders are met,
•Develop, implement, support and instruct management and staff in emergency management techniques, including organization and facilitation of training and exercises,
•Maintain emergency response centre and team readiness,
•Support the provision and maintenance of offshore oil spill response equipment, including the management of response contractors,
•Stay engaged in current and emerging regulatory compliance issues, industry standards, and best practices relating to emergency response and oil spill equipment and preparedness.

REQUIREMENTS

•Completion of a bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Marine Sciences or equivalent,
•Five years of related experience in emergency management and oil spill response in the offshore oil and gas industry,
•Completion of the Marine Spills Response Operations Course (MSROC) or equivalent,
•An understanding of the Incident Command System (ICS) emergency response structure, including completion of ICS 100 and 200 at a minimum.
•Knowledge of offshore oil spill planning and response, including equipment deployment and strategies (e.g., mechanical containment and recovery, spill treating agents, etc.),
•Knowledge of the techniques associated with the cleaning and rehabilitation of oiled seabirds,
•Ability to complete technical evaluations of best management practices and technologies for oil spill response and make recommendations for implementation,
•Knowledge of critical incident stress management, emergency notifications and crisis communication,
•Excellent presentation, written communication, group facilitation and training skills,
•Knowledge of corporate and regulatory reporting requirements.
