Responsibilities

•Facilitate client workshops, meetings, interviews to gather business requirement for existing applications.
•Document current business requirements, existing business process workflows.
•Conduct Gap analysis between existing applications and new solutions
•Work closely with business stakeholders to define and document applicable business change activities and new business procedures.
•Create test plans, test scripts and work with business stakeholders as needed to monitor test execution while assessing, tracking and managing defects.
•Create training material, execute user training.
•Complete any other client related project tasks that will help ensure project success.

REQUIREMENTS

•Post secondary education (2+ year program) in business, computer science or related field.
•10+ years of project experience where candidate filled the role of a Business Analyst
•Ability to solicit and document business requirements using examples from recent successful projects.
•Experience with creating and documenting business process models and process transformation models.
•Facilitation and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

•Developing strategy and process for cost control and scheduling for the Asset Life Extension (ALE) program that aligns with corporate guidance.
•Directing and managing the functional duties of supporting cost control and planning personnel.
•Interfacing with financial group to coordinate inputs for finance and corporate requirements in terms of long-range planning, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and ad hoc analysis request.
•Monitoring and managing EPC contractor and other contractors as required. Active engagement with EPC contractor processes in the areas of schedule and costs.
•Regularly reviewing program and advising of potential or known schedule and planning challenges.

REQUIREMENTS

•Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Engineering Technologist Diploma.
•Member in good standing or eligible for Professional Engineer status with Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL) or Association of Engineering Technicians and Technologist of Newfoundland and Labrador (AETTNL).
•Minimum of 10 years’ experience in staff/resource management with multiple projects.
•Minimum of 10 years’ proven and progressive project controls experience.
•Minimum of 5 years of project management and contractor management experience.
•Minimum of 10 years industry experience with large projects construction planning and progress measurement.
•Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.
•Formal certification/training in Primavera.
•Formal certification/training in Quantity Surveyor.
•Formal training in cost control and cost planning.

Responsibilities

•Provides technical interpretation of design documents in support of Construction Managers, Superintendents, and Contractors and provides specific expertise for problem solving.
•Coordinates completion of fabrication/construction activities in assigned systems and prepares punch lists to ensure the readiness of systems for release for turn-over to the Client or for start-up.
•Prepares fabrication/construction related documentation in a timely manner as required to support the work schedule.
•Monitors and inspects fabrication/construction operations to ensure compliance with design documents.
•Controls, distributes and files drawings, specifications and other design documents.
•Maintains liaison with home office engineering team to schedule and coordinate the release for fabrication/construction of design documents in support of the construction schedule.
•Monitors Subcontractor’s performance to ensure conformance to project quality, safety, security, and specification requirements.
•Maintains liaisons between the Contractor and the home office engineering team.
•Evaluates change requests and interfaces with the contract administrator for the initiation and development of contract modifications.
•Investigates and resolves engineering and technical related problems.
•Experience in all of the following disciplines: Structural, Electrical, and Piping

REQUIREMENTS

•A proven track record of successfully managing large industrial construction projects utilizing multiple contractors
•Typically 10 years or more of experience in a construction / fabrication role
•Oil & Gas experience is required
•Module yard Fabrication experience is preferred.
•Previous experience with topsides module integration is considered an asset.

Pipeline Integrity Engineer

• Execute the Core Process on all threat management programs on assigned segments of the Liquid Pipeline system.
• Ensure the Integrity Plans are complete and designed for achieving ALARP safety targets including zero rupture and zero leak targets.
• Exemplify the PI Code of Conduct and the PI Norms
• Conduct pipeline integrity assessment and analysis for pipeline integrity threat management programs related to the Liquid Pipeline system, including Corrosion, Crack, Deformation Threat Management and Threat Integration
• Conduct and support data analyses supporting of the integrity programs, including analysis of in-line inspection and NDE field results
• Implement integrity management processes;
• Lead data integration and records management activities relating to core functions
• Conduct validation and quality assurance of in-line inspection tools and integrity programs
• Ensure the continued compliance of integrity management processes with US and Canadian regulations, standards and best practices. Participate in regulatory audits as required;
• Lead decision records and technical reports deliverables
• Support focus projects related to assigned lines such as DPR removal, audits, failure investigation, engineering assessments, etc.;
• Provide a weekly status report summarizing assigned lines and programs activities
• Support NDE On-Call duty manager service;
• Lead the enhancement/update of integrity management processes.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert and review and approve threat programs as assigned.
• Mentor and support junior staff
• Support Pipeline Integrity Engineering as assigned.
• The threat management programs routinely determine the need to make pipeline inspections and repairs, or identify other remediation requirements to proactively manage hazards to the pipeline system. The processes utilize established industry, fitness for purpose methodology applied to the various pipeline systems.
• The position requires strong technical understanding of pipeline strength evaluation methods and engineering assessment development experience.
• This role provides leadership, consistent direction, focus and accountability to a group of engineers and analysts.
• The role requires strong analytical and decision making skills.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized university or college
• Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience
• Drive disciplined analysis through utilizing computer software, excel spreadsheets and data analysis tools necessary to conduct detailed data analyses
• Embrace change through the ability to seek process improvements
• Communicate effectively with excellent presentation and technical writing skills
• Well-organized and ability to demonstrate personal agility

Primary Focus:
• Assist with implementation of the Facility Integrity Management Program
• Serve as Mechanical Integrity Technical Consultant for static equipment to help ensure safe and reliable operation of the GTM assets
Specific Accountabilities:
• GTM Technical Consultant for the mechanical integrity of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, tanks, fired equipment, and pressure relief valves (static equipment).
• Assist with the implementation of the Facility Integrity Management (FIMP) Plan for the GTM assets to manage static equipment integrity risks in compliance with corporate policies and expectations, laws, and regulations. Will review and revise the FIMP as needed to incorporate learnings and best practices.
• Assists with the development, evaluation, and maintenance of the Facility Integrity Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
• Review inspection reports and make recommendations for remediation and /or future inspection activities.
• Perform basic suitability for service evaluations of static equipment based on design parameters and equipment condition.
• Review equipment specs and process conditions to help determine potential damage mechanisms for static equipment.
• Innovation: Assists with the implementation of innovative inspection practices and techniques to ensure inspections are done efficiently and adequately.
• Make recommendations to Management and Regional Operations on Program direction, KPI’s, and remediation of inspection findings.
• Interface with Field Operations to assist with the development of equipment repair scopes of work.
• Interface with Management and Field Operations to determine appropriate mitigation of FI risks.
• Safety Critical Role – Daily activities and decisions that directly impact the safety of others.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Four year degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in the Pipeline, Oil and Gas, and Petrochemical Industries.
• Knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, API 510, API 570, API 653, NACE MR-01-075 is desirable.
• Good working knowledge of Office Suite. Ability to develop spreadsheets.
• Ability to work with large and small teams of people.
• Ability to work in an independent environment under the scrutiny and pressure of regulatory agencies.
• Ability to work within a diverse makeup of facility personnel, Engineers, Managers, EH&S professionals, and contract personnel.
Preferred:
• Four-year degree or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering.
